What is CEMSil?

CEMSil is a range of nanosilica-based products made by Dr. Khan Industrial Consultants Pvt, Ltd. specifically engineered for concrete applications.

Today nanochemistry offers new silica based products that can be effectively applied in cement and concrete technology. In the past major developments in concrete performance have been achieved by means of application of superfine particles of fly ash, silica fume, metakaolin clay. These are however micron sized additives. The most important material today is nanosilica which is almost 200 times smaller than the smallest of other competing additives. It provides a surface area which is ten of thousands more than conventional ones. Hence it approaches the problem at nanometer level and starts solving it from that level, which is simply not possible with other conventional pozzolanic materials.
